About One Mans Mountain Group

One Mans Mountain Group is a not-for-profit organisation based in Dorset, England, promoting positive awareness of paranoid schizophrenia in the UK.

The group was established in 2005 to create and manage projects which (a) PROMOTE AWARENESS OF PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA and (b) IMPLEMENT CHANGE TO ATTITUDES TOWARDS MENTAL ILLNESS.

Projects: One Mans Mountain Expedition
The organisations first project is the One Mans Mountain Expedition in 2007.  The five aims for the project are:

1)       To promote positive awareness of paranoid schizophrenia
2)       Dispel mental health myths
3)       Challenge attitudes towards schizophrenia
4)       Positively promote expedition participates
5)       Fundraise for SANE
